2. a) Which type of trees are trees are produced by tree improvement practices?
b) What are the major difficulties in use of rooted cutting in operational planting?
c) Do you believe that cloning should be employed in the tree improvement programs of Bangladesh? If you are positive then why? If you disagree then what are the alternatives do you have?
3. a) How the terms – species, adaptive response, genetic diversity, environmental changes and global warming interlinked?
b) Do you think In situ conservation and nature conservation are compatible or confliction? Explain.
c) Which technique is the mainstay of germplasm conservation of agriculturally important species?
4. a) Define polyploidy breeding. Write the significance of this breeding in forestry?
b) Define plus tree. What are the characteristics of plus tree?
c) Define hybridization. Discuss the different form of hybridization?
d) Distinguish between a seed orchard and a seed production area (SPA)?
